He came so that we may know Him.

“And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true… This is the true God, and eternal life.”1 John 5:20

Jesus did not come merely to give us information about God. He came to give us understanding so that we could personally know the One who is true.

Christianity is more than knowing biblical facts, attending services, or becoming familiar with religious language. It is a living relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ.

WE ARE IN HIM WHO IS TRUE

John says, “We are in Him who is true.” Our confidence is not founded upon feelings, circumstances, or human opinions. We are rooted in Christ—the perfect revelation of the true God and the very source of eternal life.

Eternal life is not merely endless existence. It is the life of God received through union with His Son. The more clearly we know Christ, the more clearly we understand the Father, our identity, and the life we have been called to live.

DO NOT SETTLE FOR KNOWING ABOUT HIM

Pursue Him through His Word, listen to His Spirit, and walk with Him daily.

Jesus did not only come to save you from death. He came so that you might know the true God and live in Him.
